I am new to the forum, but not to the amps. I have known about Scott's magic for years, I first heard one with Brad Noah, whom I have been friends with for 10+ years. 3 weeks ago I called Scott and ordered a new Super Comp, plexi headshell, gold face and piping. I ordered the 100 watter with EL34b's. Please oh please Mr Fed-Ex hurry and bring my new baby from Dr. Splawn's shop.

i thought of calling and asking Josh or Scott if they have any idea about shipping dates, but i dont want to be annoying them, as i know that right now people are getting tax refunds and buying amps, causing the boys in Dallas to be swamped.

Ok, so i spoke to Josh today and my 5 weeks has become around 9 now, my new baby is supposed to built March 28 and ship that week...........Wow, i knew i should have learned more about patience.  |

^ don't get too down. 9 weeks is actually still pretty good. There was a time last year I think when it was more like 12 - 16 weeks iirc.

Yeah, i almost bought a QR last year and didnt because of the wait. I know Scott and he is a great guy, just that this sucks because today was week 4, now i feel like i am starting over.

So, i talked to Scott today, built my Super Comp today, burning in tommorrow, ships Thursday.....SWEET! Anybody have any idea how long it takes to ship FedEx from Dallas NC to Atlanta GA, i am busting to fire her up!

Guess what Mr Fedex brought me today, 2011 Super Comp. I am absolutely blown away......l found my tone that i have chased for years. She is paired up with my Splawn straight 412 with Vintage 30s, it is a seasoned, world toured gift from my buddy Brad Noah. Sounds simply brutal and boggles my mind.  |
