That looks like a real excellent sturdy case. I don't have roadies throwing my stuff into a bus anymore so I usually buy a med duty case not tough enough to stand on but tough enough that a mic stand won't poke a knob off or something in the van from www.newyorkcasecompany.com If anyone else could build similar for less money I'd like to listen... |

Did you ever get that SKB? I was wondering how it fit. Also how hand-able is it knowing a Streetrod is 65 lbs + SKB case 30lbs = 95lbs (whew). Are the handles in such a way it can be lifted in a van without being an Olympic power lifter?
