Gotta say I love 'em both! I'm with this man. Gary Moore is the guy I watch when I want to be reminded how a Les Paul should sound. I'd no idea he was so good at pulling great raw tone from a Strat, too. Yngwie's, of course, is bitchin'. It burns me how he's at NAMM badmouthing his old pickups like they were good for nothing but hum canceling. He got nearly 20 years of staggering tone from them before he lost his ear. Real distinctive, world class, idolized tone. Be grateful! |

Great video Craig. I think Yngwie has more feel in that vid that Moore. Looks like he did a couple of chromatic licks - first time I've ever seen Yngwie do one.
