I have been reading your posts for a little while now and I made the jump to join up. The reason is that I am looking for information on the combo of a Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Standard and a Splawn Nitro half sack. I have seen a few videos on You Tube but I am looking to see if you all can point me to more videos or sound clips. I played waaaaaaayyy back when I was in my teens during the 80's when Dokken, Extreme, and Ozzy among others were my reason for picking up a guitar. I sold my amp(jcm 900 half stack) in my early 20's but kept my BC Rich ST3(with a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge). I have not played since. The point of all this is that from what I have heard of the Nitro I want to get back into it again. That amp sounds insane. I am looking at the Les Paul Axcess and I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with the guitar and the amp combo. Thank you for your time

Don't see how you could go wrong with that combination. I have a LP standard and a quickrod and they go together like butter and jelly.Depends on what you are going for the Nitro will make the JCM 900 sound like a toy.

Les Pauls + Splawn. Who could ask for anything more? All my guitars sound great through my Splawn but when I plug the LP in it is legendary rock fury. I have seen grown men cry from the tones.

Thanks for the input. I feel a little better about my direction. I am going to continue to seek out information and add signal processing to the list(effects, cabling, and accessories). Thanks again for your help.
