Hey all, I recently read an article where Scott said he's working on some new combo ideas other than the Street Rod does anyone have any idea what he is planning?

Won't be a Nitro Combo.

I'd love to see a little 5 to 15 watt recording amp that sounds as monster as the 100 watters do at low volume. I'd also like a Honda Civic with Ferrari performance and sound.

Baron makes an amp like that. Sounds huge.

I too would love to have all my QR tone in a small amp.. I had a jet city JCA20 that was pretty good sounding and have a Tweaker that sounds great, but NO match for the divine tone of my QR. But sadly the Tweaker gets more play cuz of size and output. Thankfully the QR has the master, but Its still no substitute for letting it breathe..

Tweaker is a cool amp. A buddy of mine brought his over and proceeded to swap different power and preamp tubes around at will with no biasing. I was pretty happy with the tone (especially with EL34s). It was the head version. The Mesa Trans-Atlantic is another cool amp like that. Part of the problem with the big tone amps is you need big iron. Big transformers. But I would love to see Splawn attempt something like that.
