If I were about 10-15 years younger this amp would make the stage more often...as it is, I'm just not getting gigs where I can crank up a 1/2 stack modded Marshall type amp ...... Here's the run down: The amp is a QuickRod (new style 3-gear/clean channel separate..) that has been 'equipped' with JJ KT88s (ProMod)...I have the original Mullard EL34s so you can re-bias the amp back to a QuickRod should you prefer... The amp is Purple, plexi style case, Marshall style knobs with gold piping, gold panel and gold pin stripe accross the face...it is essentially 'brand new' condition no blems or issues at all! The 4x12 cabinet is Purple with cane grill and white piping, Eminence MOW and Gov's in an 'X' pattern...looks and sounds new.... No wait! I will ship tomorrow if bought....$2500 shipped (both) Email for photos if interested... baxterfamily@hotmail.com...

KKKKAAA.....BLING! Just tryin to put this back in the top 10.....it only has a few hours playing time on her (about 50 or so...). so she's basically new! Look, I do LOVE the amp...it just sits there though...I use it for recording a few 'heavy' tunes I'm workin on and then it sits...I think it should go to a good shredding home where a true shredster will give her the love she deserves! I'm not strapped for cash, so, if she doesn't sell I will continue to record and use the amp...most of the gigs I'm doing now are acoustic and the rest of em' I can get the lower gain stuff with my VoxAC30 and a few OD pedals...This amp deserves better than what I can do...

Just curious I guess. Patrick Patrick, I like the ProMod better....much better actually. I think it gets a perfect balance between a Marshall crunch and a modern scooped sound. It has less mids and more bass than the QuickRod EL34 sound so it's darker and tends to 'blend' in the mix a bit more....if not careful it can get lost in a mix too...there doesn't seem to be any interest here so I'll probably list it on ebay, if it doesn't sell I'll keep using it (when I can) until I sell it or keep it indefinitely....
