1 week into this rig after buying it used and I am SPEECHLLESS!! , don't care about changing the tubes(age??), checking the bias, trying different speakers(2xsb's), don't need pedals or a clean channel, I like it just the way it is, plug the guitar straight in and play...love it! 1st gear, od1, noon across the dials KILLS by itself and it only gets better from there and cleans up so nice...my ears are ringing and my fingers hurt!.. ;D I posted this before but here it is again:

Clean, simple, BAD A__ sound. The more I get into my Comp the more I like. All weekend I played clean with a looper at home and you are right it cleans up real nice. Nice set up Lewis!

Glad to see some Compy love! Mine's been perfect lately with the GB/H30 split. So much tone there, it's like an adventure for the ears.
I fear my tubes will go soon and I'll never get it to sound the same. :/

Thx Blackjack! Glad to see some Compy love! What's not to love? This thing gives me the warm & fuzzies.. I know what you mean about being afraid to change tubes, it might not ever be the same. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, for now I'll just let'errr rip.. ;D
