Ah, that was great. Thanks for posting.
I particularly like this quote from Scott, when asked to describe Splawn tone:
"It’s got a lot of midrange. It cuts through the mix really well. It’s very dynamic, and it reacts sensitively to different pickups, guitars, and speakers. What you put into a Splawn amp is what you get out. If you play hard, it’ll growl at you. If you lighten up, it’ll obey you. When you roll your guitar’s volume knob back on the overdrive channel, the sound cleans up really well. Splawn amps have definitely got their own thing going on—they don’t sound like anything else."
Dead on.

Great to see some coverage, but in this PARTICULAR magazine, this is totally cool! I used to get GP and GW, (anyone remember "for the practicing musician"?). Like most adults my age, I took some time off. When I got back into guitar regularly, GP was half the size of Premier Guitar. What happened? Maybe the other magazines should start covering manufacturers like Splawn rather than tabs on the latest buzz saw sounding guitar player. My favotire amp covered by my favorite magazine. Gotta love it!

Oh, I forgot, there's a section at the bottom of that page on Premier Guitar, where you can leave comments.

I also like what he said at the end about modeling amps...nothing beats a tube amp basically.
