Help with Speaker Selection

I have an older Splawn cab with man o wars and goveners. I just
bought two smallblocks. What would you think would be the best of the older speakers to run with the smallblocks. I really don't know what the old speakers compare to celestion wise. Maybe vintage 30's and g12-75's. Give me some opinions!

If you've got quick connects just try all the combinations and see what sounds best?

This ^^. I love the SBs and V30s together. I think the Govenors are like V30s. Only problem is the SBs are not as efficient(loud) as the V30s. Check to see if the same case with the Eminence versions.

Just checked the Eminence and Celestion websites. Govenors are rated at 102 db and the V30 @100. I think you'll find the SBs are considerably quieter.
