Hi guys. I am new here and I just picked up a older Pro Stock. I love this thing! It is a beast! I traded my Marshall DSL50 and a Peavey Wolfgang (Korean) for it. It looks brand new. The guy never used it very much. I was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to place pedals with this beast. I notice that you don't really need a compressor pedal with this thing. I tried it in front of the amp and it sounds too compressed even at lowest level. I just got the amp today so I haven't had time to experiment yet. I plugged my flange, phaser and delay into the effects loop but they don't work...... i hope my effects loop is ok? My pedals are Wah, comp,Chorus, Nois Supp, Phaser, Flange, EQ and Delay. Can anyone tell me which ones go in loop or in front and it what order for the best result please?

I noticed that it has Mercury trannies in it. Does that mean it's the older version? Either way I love this thing!

Well I figured out how to set up the pedals in front and in the effects loop nicely. I am glad the effects loop works fine. I was worried there for a bit. I must have had a cable in the wrong place last night or something. I have one question though, what is the difference from the high input jack and low for the guitar? To my ears, I don't hear a difference?

You'll probably find that the Chorus, Delay and maybe EQ (depending on how you use it) sound best in the loop, with the Wah, Flanger and Phaser out front. If you have the type of noise suppressor that allows you to run both out front and in the loop simultaneously (Boss NS-2 or Decimator G-string for example) then set it up that way. If not... you'll have to decide if it's more important to quiet preamp hiss or pedal board noise.
