So I got my new assignment last night. I will be leaving at the end of the month with the Murderdolls for a tour in Europe with Guns n Roses and then back in the states with Alice Cooper/Rob Zombie until November....As much as I love driving my own vehicle and using my own trailer and working with AntiSeen, I cant say no to a tour bus and airplanes...plus the per diems are better...

I am a guitar/amp tech for lots of crazy bands. I have been working with Wednesday 13 and all of his various bands for about 8 years or something. I've done a lot of tours with Alice Cooper and my main job is tour manager for legendary punk rockers AntiSeen. I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades I guess. I went to culinary school in France and then here in the states but I have been playing in bands the whole time so I sort of live a double life I guess. Between cooking and rocking, I've been to 43 states and 17 countries...ready for more! For what it's worth, I sing praises of Splawn amps to almost everyone I meet on the road...I have a stack of business cards that I take with me and hand out.

You are a biographical cook book waiting to happen! Give it some thought, if you're comfortable writing.

I've thought about writing something like that. I think the world needs a rock-n-roll cookbook! I feel a bit young to be trying to write anything serious though....On a side note, Dethklok is joinging the Rob Zombie/Alice Cooper tour part way through. Should make for an interesting experience...Oh, and we are playing a festival in Weisen with Limp Bizkit and Marky Ramone...even more interesting...

don't want to drail the thread but since your an amp tech I have a quick question for you . I have a marshall jmp I'm adding a loop to . Its a pre made loop . I know where to hook up in and out from the loop . What is giving me trouble is where to get the power from. IT requires 30v . can you point me in the right direction Thanks

I've messed with a Steve Miller (SDM)/(metro amps) effects loop in a 100watt marshall before and if I remember, power was supplied directly from the phase inverter. Alternately, you could use the screen node for power but that is only for lower wattage amps. My guess is to go with the B+ from the Phase inverter but I will look into a bit deeper and let you know

thanks I just looked at the instructions again and it says to get the voltage from the 2nd filter rc .That sounds familiar but its been way to long since electronics .
