I want to get a Marshall cab.....to get a little more low end umpppph to it. gotcha..I'd watch the marshall cabs though..they can be pretty bright soundin' cabs..i guess it depends on what kind you get and when it was made... actually, it could also just be the speakers you have in the cab..u could always take the GH30s out, sell them on evilbay and try new speakers...maybe a different type of celestion..or a weber or something...I think that would be MUCH easier than selling a whole cab |

might try the X pattern with two of the eminence and see what happens.. that would add some bottom omphf maybe.. ?? I would keep the cab too.. as the marshall probably wont have as much as the splawn has on the bottom end with the right speakers. I have two marshall cabs. v30 and the g12t-75 cab.. I X patterned them and had a great bottom. seperate and lost a little.. but I was after lower mids. so I run the v30's back in one cab. from the clips I hear on the splawn site, the cab has a tighter deeper bottom end.

I just bought a used Marshall 1960AX 4 X 12 and it sounds KILLER. I'm running the bass at 4 and it moves my pant leg. LOL
I've got a great sound and tone with this cab and my QR. ;D

Yea! I get that too.. even my drummer feels it when I point a cab at him.. it freaks him out getting pounded from both sides of the stage now.. bass+ splawn = one drummer that can hear whats going on hahahaha.. vocalist? what vocalist? I dont hear a vocalist.. LOL...

Dude, I swear, if I had the money I would buy it off of ya right now. I want another 4x12 so I can do a wet/dry setup. May just get the new slant cab!
