[burp].. had an AWESOME time. I still love those guys.. man were they great.. and Warren is so cool too. We were in our dressing room and Warren came in just to say hi which was way cool of him to do... said he'd heard of us for years and were local drunken legends around Orlando etc etc.. lmao..and that Stephen Pearcy had us picked from the start of the tour to open the Orlando show because HE remembered us from opening for his band a few times. Super nice guys all of them.. but especially Warren and Robbie Crane. It was a "dry" tour... which was kinda funny.. (funny to us anyways) because we've never had a dry show in 8 years... a few of them snuck into our area to have a few cold ones... a few turned into MORE than a few.
My friend Ally who used to work for Roadrunner records was hangin with Warren after they were done and he made alot of comments on the rig, the splawn and had alot of nice things to say in general about my playing which was fooking cool. I mean when I was a kid this was my favorite band. I was a little star struck to be honest, I felt like VomHalen for a second,,, )
..and did I mention they were ALL so friggin' GOOD. The whole band killed and Warren was sick, sick, sick good.
I got some awesome pics.. I'll post them here in a bit.

Only a ghey super fan would have taken this picture... GUILTY. Look at this mess... I mean his guitar tech is a friggin' idiot...this was actually the fully setup and functioning rig. charvel production model not the "real" one. Me rockin' my Quickrod you can see it in the background.. You can see Warren's Soldanos there on the right..

...oh and in case anyone was wondering.. Carlos Cavazo was using a BlackStar 200 or something,, way too much gain and fuzzed out with a Soldano SLO. I'm pretty sure he used the SLO for rhythms and the Blackstar for leads. Demartinis sound was way more clear, punchy and less gainy... very 1st gear sounding.

Excellent DC! Sounds like it was a blast. It's nice to also hear that they were friendly regular people, and not drug-fueled idiots. I'm sure Warren was impressed with your playing as well as your rig. He's an eternal tone hunter. Kudos to to you brother.

I told ya's bout the SLO's...Only thing is...what a fooking mess. That rig is disgraceful! WTF! I'll bet it sounded way better than it looked! My bandmate and bud has the same head, #3 that he never picked up. It sounds better than my ProStock!
