Can anyone tell me how the current Comps compare to an older one(pre gears,half power). I have an 06 Competition without the gears. It has mode 1 and mode 2 on the footswitch. Would that be the same as gear 1/2? So HR Plexi/HR 800? Am I missing Super HR 800? My amp is simple and nasty(if i want ;D). Are there any tonal differences? Same size transformers as the 100 watters?
