Gave it a shot, this is a Quickrod with SB speakers in a Marshall 4/12 and a EBMM Super Sport with rosewood board, Tone Zone pickup. Here's a few vids, Demon Hunter cover and just the amp.

Nice.
I am looking at a Splawn and have been struggling between the Nitro and the QR. On 6s I play a whole step down. Currently I am using 7s exclusively and tune down a half step to Bb.
Currently leaning to the QR as it seems to just be a good all around amp. I need something that will do metal (More in the realm of Female fronted Goth bands like Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, etc but I am a big fan of Doom Metal ala Solitude Aeturnus) But not be limited to that realm (like the tone Fireflight is getting with them - great rock tone). This gives me an idea of what it would sound like with drop tunings.
Thanks for posting!

i use a baritone tuned to Bb with my QR and it's absolutely killer! i'll get some clips up at some point. to my ears, the QR is more versatile than the Nitro. that being said, you can get a killer tone out of any of the Splawn amps!
also, the clips sound good dude!
