Heavenly -- Fantastic power metal band out of France. There are bits of so many bands in their music: Helloween, Gamma Ray, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Alcatrazz, Jake E Lee Ozzy ... and none of the cheese you get from bands like Silent Force, Primal Fear, Edguy ...

Cool! I hear a little Vandel Plas, too.
Dude with the Strat has some nerve taking a solo at all with that other guy in the band. He got hammered.

not to be a d!ck, but if I'm gonna listen to a 'power metal' band it's gonna be Pagan's Mind..that's right, bitches!!! Although I think they get short changed by being categorized as power metal...they're really a progressive band more than anything else...
so yeah..take that!

Cool! I hear a little Vandel Plas, too. Dude with the Strat has some nerve taking a solo at all with that other guy in the band. He got hammered. Yeah, Jackson guitar player must be German. Doh! Fitting that the Frog's guitar is white like a flag, though. My bad, I've been on a WWII reading kick lately. Don't mention the war I guess. |

I thought they were prog, but I get confused about sub-genre titles. I just buy what sounds good.

I know that....and YOU know that..but they regularly get categorized as power metal along with other bands such as Hammerfall, Gammaray, etc, etc..if you ever get a CD from that same label you'll see a bunch of bands under that category and PM is there... it's nitpicking really...but hey, if theyr'e going to have a billion sub genres of guitar driven music, they may as well get it right  |

I'm partial to Celestial Entrance and Enigmatic Calling..it's not often that I take a chance on a band and actually fall in love with it..i have dozens of CDs that didn't work out so well |
