I'm a new Street Rod owner and I'd like to compare notes with other owners, particularly those that might be able to A/B theirs with a QR.
Anybody else other there....?

I'm ordering 2 on Monday. I sold 2 half stacks to downsize and am getting 2 Streetrods. Sure am excited as I know it's a killer little amp. The huge half stack thing was great looking and sounding but I have been playing through a Fender combo lately for kicks and with some pedals, it's just fine for the types of gigs we do around here. The Street Rod combo is just the thing I've been needing. I hope you dig yours Ronmail65. Maybe we'll get to see some pics and hear the bad boy?

I've been very pleased with mine. To answer most of your questions, I have another thread with pics and lots of comments... splawnfans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=news&action=display&thread=7380No clips or You Tube stuff. Maybe I'll do a You Tube thing when I can find the time. Regarding your comment on rig downsizing, I totally get where you're coming from. Half stacks and high wattage heads look and sound great, but are totally impractical for me anymore. When I have to keep stage volumes down and everything is mic'd, then what's the point of a big amp? Plus I can do without the packing and transportation hassles of a big amp. That said, I still haven't parted with my half stack -- but I'm seriously considering it. Good luck with yours - let me know the ETA.
