thanks. im pretty satisfied with it, i put a set of kt88 in it i had laying around and it made a huge difference in the bottom end. Before it had a loose/flubby bottom end with the el34b but now it seem like the whole eq band is more even.
we'll see if she wins my heart over when i take it to practice friday, she got some stiff competition....I not sure if anything can replace my self hacked on/modded 2203.....its one bad bitch

Love the KT-88's too. In fact, when I retube my QuickRod I'm putting KT-88's in there to match the ProMod. Just got done wailing and it's a beautiful thing. The tone that is. Just absolute fat, rich, balls to the walls Splawn tone. A Les Paul helps too I might add. For me anyway. Thinking about joining some of you guys and getting a Charvel. I'm just not nuts about the Floyd Rose.

;DMe either Mike...I HATE those things. Total pain in the a##. I saw some new stuff on the web that's supposed to stabilize the bridge, but they can have it. I like a vintage trem or a Wilkinson blocked. I think the springs give it a little more resonance. That's the way I like it. I can't stand playing a floating Floyd.... ;D
