WOW. I don't know what to say except I would reconsider your relationship with this friend.
But, I'll try to talk you down:
I can't imagine that you could be held legally liable as far as criminal charges go. So, considering that, you should be able to breathe easier knowing that you can't be carted off to jail and be Bubba's new boyfriend. Anything short of this can't be too terrible if you keep Bubba in perspective.
Financially I just don't know, but I would imagine that the other person's insurance company (the party that got hit by your friend) will go after Geico if there is a medical claim of any kind, since at 25 years old you probably don't have enough personal assets for an insurance company to bother coming after you personally. Can't get blood from a turnip and all.
Whether Geico drops you, raises your rates, or whatever depends on your policy I imagine. My guess is worst case scenario for you, you get dropped by Geico and have trouble getting insurance for awhile, but that will pass and you will move on to be a normal person in time. Best case scenario this is your free pass. Middle case scenario your rates go up. The worst case scenario isn't the end of the world, though. People recover from this kind of thing, just be glad it wasn't YOU with the DUI, then you would really be fooked if any charges are pressed.
But, I'm no insurance person or attorney - I'm just passing on crappy advice - except for the reconsider the relationship thing - that I WOULD do. No amount of lovin' is worth all that drama. Take it from someone who's been there.
