I have to agree. If you are going for another Splawn you MUST get a different cab to go with it. Out of all the cabs I have played my Nitros and Quickrods through the Splawn and Mills Acoustics cabs sound the best. I have been recording through a SB25 in my ISO cab for a few months now and love it. Most manufacturers will make a cab that compliments the amp that will be sitting on top of it. I have heard V30s in a Splawn and also a Mills with my Nitro and they both sound really good. Mesa 4X12 with V30s not so good and really boomy. Govs are great speakers for a Splawn as are the SB25s. A little more bite with the Govs. Don't buy a Splawn and expect it to sound good with any cab. All cabs and speakers sound different. It may take some trial and error to find what you like, but the Splawn is the best amp for the money period.

Hi fellow Compy worshippers... I just bought this exact head from an admitted flipper named Jeff, who bought it from "mainly" who posted on here earlier.. This thing is a BEAST, and sounds better than ANY Marshall I have ever owned, and I've owned a few from all eras.. Now I know what all the hoopla is about..!!!! Haven't owned a 50 watter in years, and i'm having a blast ...Really responsive, and incredible sounding...Playing an old SG Standard through it, as well as a Les Paul Standard, and both sound great. I hope he's enjoying his Soldano.... ;D

That's great! Somehow I feel better knowing it found an appreciative home. Enjoy, Bomber.

Thank you, Ayton...Glad to have joined the ranks. I'm in LOVE with this thing. Great clips, by the way. I can't wait to really crank it!! My JCM 2000 100 watter shakes in fear when I play through this bugger.... There's NO comparison. I'm putting the Marshall up for sale this week, as I never was too happy with the tone... I have LOADS of tone thanks to my new Compy!!!!!

Hey Ayton! I just figured out that you are Zombie from youtube. LOL I have most of you comp videos favorited on there. You are the reason I traded my ProStock for a Comp. It's day 2 now with my comp and I can't put my guitar down or wipe the grin off my face! You have some great chops bud! Thanks for the Comp inspiration!

That's me! I love my tone so much I keep broadcasting it to the world. I appreciate the Favorites and the kind words. Now you'll find out how much of the "chops" is "amp". ;D
