Anyone using a Line 6 M13 or Digitech RP500/1000 with there Competition? If so how do you like it and how do you have it set up I.E. 4 cable?

Recently been using an RP1000 with my Compy and love it!!! It's easy to set up (4 cable method) even telling you on the back of the unit where each cable goes. Great FX, nice OD/boosts and wah for the front end and once I get a Nobels NS4 midi switching box, I'll be able to change gears/OD/solo boost within patches using midi. I can even get a lush clean using one of the modelled pre amps, bypassing the Splawn pre amp....a nice feature!  |

I've been very happy using a Boss GT-10 in the 4 cable method. Although I never use the pre-amps in the GT-10, I always use the Splawn and just apply saved patches of various FX settings. One thing in particular I like about the GT-10 (not sure if the Line6 or Digitech have this feature) is the "Amp Ctrl" which allows me to program one of the Splawn footswitch functions directly into my GT patches. I use it for the Solo boost.
