There's a QR for sale on Harmony Central (It's in NJ) that apparently was only used for4 several hours. I'd have bought it if mine wasn't on order.

That's my Quick Rod, I've had it for a week. I do like the way it sounds, exactly like the clips on the site. I also like the Bogner tone. I have a Shiva coming this week. The more you play the QR the cooler it gets. At first I was stuck in 3rd gear, now I find myself really liking 1st and 2nd. If this amp had the 101B type footswitch it would be killer. If I don't sell it they will make a nice pair.  I'm in LI/NY, I thought $1600 shipped/paypal was a fair price, we'll see. |

Let's see...$1600 for a QR that the tubes are probably just burned in and no 4 week wait...sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. If I didn't already own one, I'd be PM'ing you with all kinds of gear trades!!

so, you don't like it just cause of the footswitch? what, the lack of footswitchable effects got you turned off or something? not sure I understand why you're gettin' rid of it if you like the way it sounds?

I sell off alot of amps that I like because I'm always searching,always experimenting...I have my favorites but don't lock myself into one type of amp with one type of sound. Each amp has their own attributes whether it's a swiss army knife type or just one killer sound be it clean or dirty tone...?? Too many to choose from  |

Too many to choose from Kurtstuff is right on, I like the QR but there might be something out there that is better for me. If I don't sell/trade it,I have no problem keeping it. I have 2 Eminence Man O War's coming to try mixing in my cabinet. The footswitch had zero to do with it, I was just thinking how cool it woud of been to have all those options. |
