hey everyone. it's been a sometime since i've posted around here. life is keeping me busy anyways, last time i was posting, my rig was going through some changes. i've finally got it all hammered out and am really pleased with the setup. check it out: still running the QR with tung-sol el34b's through small block 25s. sounds awesome! signal path is: pitch black --> tone press --> super sport --> QR QR fx send --> volume pedal --> loop-master TB 2 loop switcher--> volume box (behind the amp) --> fx return loop-master loop 1 --> nova delay loop-master loop 2 --> nova mod the novas are great. after some experimenting i found that i like how the QR's loop sounds on the +4db setting rather on the -10db, which is how i use to run it. the novas can handle the +4db level and sound amazing. the boss volume pedal has minimal tone suck and allows me to do swells and such. it sounds great with trailing delays. the volume box in the back is just acting as my master volume to control the overall volume. the whole board is being powered by a voodoo labs pedal power 2 mounted beneath the pedaltrain. the super sport is running on 18v and the two novas are running on their 12v power supplies plugged into a mini power strip, also mounted underneath, that is running off the pedal power 2's extra AC power jack. that's the best way i've found to run the dual novas with the pp2. here's a shot of the board's underside for those interested: img200.imageshack.us/img200/1796/picture261g.jpgstill got my other guitars but the R8 is my main guitar. it's loaded with the Rio Grange BBQ/TX set along with an RS kit and works real well with the QR.

Very Nice, very clean! I see that you have the very rare Altoids Boost! You are one lucky dude to have scored that pedal, I hear they give your cleans a hint of minty-ness. ;D

It's not so much the wall of Splawn any more, but it's a pretty formidable hurdle. (BTW, if I were you I'd install an unmarked switch or pot on that Altoids tin, just to fk with people.)

Awesome! That's pretty similar to the setup I'm running primarily:
02 Les Paul Standard Quick Rod (Mullards) Splawn 2x12 (SB25/BB combo) Pedaltrain board
