what are the best tubes to put in a splawn superstock if you want to add more gain, darken it, and tigthen it up?

Your have Mullards in power sections right? What is in your preamp section? Going to JJ's out of the gate may or may not get you what you want. Personally, I'd ride your tubes for a while. What cab do you have? If you want Nitro type gain you may or may not get it out of this amp. YOu are amongst friends. Do you have an EQ and a Volume pedal?
