I havea KT77 Nitro. I use H30s and ManOs, and I always find myself dialing the high end WAY back.
How do you think the K100s would sound with the Nitro? I've heard them with a Herbert and it sounds massive...I'm looking for a dark tone, but tight in the low end and very full.

Thats the ones i use, and the sound is massive, ill never use another speaker, very dark and heavy, with lots of bottom

I've got a pair of the k100's hopefully in the next day or two showing up. They'll be going in my 4X12 with a pair of the scumbacks I've already got in it.

A generous heaping of the volume knob and a boost will get retarded heavy. I think the gain on the amp though was only at maybe 3 o'clock. I rarely take it past that.

Great clip ! I always enjoy your vids/clips and posts. I wish I was more knowledgeable about speakers but I just have not experimented enough. Now I have Kt77 gas again though. |

how do the 100s compare to v30s?? Smoother highs, tighter low end, cleaner at high volume/gain. overall much better IMO. |
