So...I just played the 9th annual Penguin Pig Pickin' here in Charlotte. Went to flip the standby switch on my Pro-Mod and all I got was an extremely low volume coming out of the speakers, no matter what the volume was set on. I went through every single cable and connection, tried different guitars, cables, speaker cab combinations and still got nothing....I ended up using a Fender Prosonic head which I quickly learned is a glorified dual rectifier. I was saddened and dismayed as we limped through the show, which continued to be plagued with random other technical problems. I guess we all have our off-nights...after 10 years without a single technical mishap...looks like I have some troubleshooting to do in the morning...

The Penguin is a famous diner here in Charlotte. It's in a section of Charlotte that we call "Cool Town". Awesome burgers and killer jukebox...just watch for all the trendy folk.

Sounds like a tube problem to me. How old are your tubes?? Could just need to be freshened up a bit.

That sounds like a blown power tube. Had that happen with my new QR last month. Tubes fail...... Splawn amps do not.
