I had Doug @ dougstubes.com send me a Balanced Sovtek LPS to try in my Splawn's PI Socket along with some other power tubes he was testing for me.
Let me tell you that after I put this in the PI instead of the Chinese 12ax7, things sounded even better.
The tone became a bit smoother on the highend and the lowend. The definition was definitly alot better... and the "Clank" highend tone was gone. Plam mutes sound even tighter.
Definitly a tube to consider in the Nitro's PI socket.
