I have about 60 different driver head types and none will fit the speaker bolts snugly.
One started working and I got nearly all off but the last one just looks like I mangled the hole and now it is rounded. What are the bolts hex that hold the speaker on?

I can;t get the speaker off. That one damn bolt hex hold wont give me any purchase.

Buy a tool called and easy out. It is a reverse flat drill bit looking thing. It will get the stripped bolt out.

That's my biggest grip about Splawn cabs. I see absolutely no tonal or structural advantage to using a speaker bolt/screw type that probably 90% of the guys buying the cabs do not have a tool for.

Are you guys talking about the actual speakers or the cab back cover?

What type head is it ? Torx??? Just curious for future reference. I haven't opened my cab up since I bought it a few months ago.

It is a hex bolt. You can use an allen wrench to get the speaker out. I can't remember what size the bolts are.
