My brother-in-law had one of Scotts FIRST designed Competion heads where the input jack is NOT centered in the front, its LOWER towards the bottom, that tells you its a first run of his 50 watt Quick Rods. Im now the owner of the head. Scott mentioned its a collectable. It was collecting dust on its side in his garage as it got damaged in delivery, cracked shell bent power transformer, busted tubes both Power and pre's. It was a limping dog hit by a car..........sorta LOL. I now have the amp, loaded with KT77 JJ's and waiting on a white Rhoads-ish plexi style shell. A little weird looking at the head on the Spalwn 4X12 with just the chasis, but let me tell you about the tone. O M FRICKIN GOD! Thats the tone I have been searching for, for the last 25-30 years of my life. Thanks Scott, proud to be apart of the Splawn family, once the shell comes to me, I'll post some pics and some sound clips as well on youtube, CANT WAIT!!! Quick shout out to Vom and Dirty, hope you guys are doing well

Scott is shipping the shell to me first week of July, pics up tonight, and it has NO rotary knob on front , my bad, its got gear 1 and 2 and solo yes via footswitch just no rotary knob on front, I changed the marshalls knobs to creme colored Chicken Knobs to match the WHITE JCM 800 /Black Piping shell, its gonna rock visually, I havent stopped playing this bad boy, its the BEST amp Ive EVER owned.

Ok, Im heading home, I'll take shots of the chasis as requested, this head is one of the first 5 Scott said, Scott dosent even know much about it, but said when its THAT old, like 06? Thats why its got great sag, smooth tone as its worked in now. Soon as I get it I'll post pics of the front and back and top. Shell is shipping by 7th of June hopefully THEN it'll represent a RHOADS vibe

Notice the "lower" NOT centered input jack, THAT told Scott its one of his first run Competion's built. When he proto's new builds he leaves the input jack lower, then puts them centered as the build is a go! No rotary on this one either, this is one of the first "3" -50 watt QR's I believe were made. This head has KILLER, I mean K I L L E R sag! Age has its advantages

I see you also have a jsx with g-flex cab,mmmmmm... G-Flex LYNCH model re-loaded with celestion V-30's and THAT 2x12 KILLS! The JSX is loaded and tweaked with RUBY 6L6's and JJ pre's. Combine BOTH these heads together at moderate volume and its THICK articulate BROWN heaven! I sold my JSX 2 years ago and bought one back and the one you see is a keeper, Im not selling the JSX ever. Learned my lesson as well as finding the 50 watt QR Competion, THAT head is a tone beast
