How's the Nitro sound dude?? I would love to get one for teh br00talzz, but I think the QR is more my style. I might mod it to a "Pro Mod" --eventually--, but no way are Sovtek tubes going in my amp. I'll use EL34's for awhile. I think my Soldano is sold!!! Kinda sad, as that amp has some of the best cleans ever. It takes pedals good too. I heard mixed reviews on how well Splawns accept pedals.

Is that a Mills Acoustic cab it's hooked up to? That must be punishing...

Reading the specs on those Mills cabs. That's a lot of coin for a 412. And V30's too? Wow. Might kick ass - never heard one - but I'm intrigued for sure. They have an EVM loaded cab rated at 800-1200W. LOL. Reminds me of my old metal grilled Boogie 412 with 200W EV's in it. I ran that with my Mesa MkIIC+ I bought in High School (1990). Ha! You talk about freakin' BRUTAL! That damn thing would light a place up! Talk about a back breaking cab though... you needed a damn forklift to move it

Nothing beats the sound of a 4x12 for me, but I'm finding that I don't move mine all that much and will compromise and take a smaller cab if I have to transport my rig unless I have help lol.
