Just got a Splawn 412 cab. Getting a Quickrod later on to fill in the spot in the bottom of the middle case. The cab sounds amazing!  |

Good to see another guy on here with a budda head. Which head is it and what speakers are in your cab? I've got the sd80 and my cab has the bb/sb25 combo.

I have the SuperDrive 30..wanna get the 45. I heard the 80 is a beast! You like it? I bought the cab from a buddy and it has man o war speakers and something else. Pretty much a greenback and vintage 30 combo.

i love the sd80. I've never tried the others so I really can't say much for comparison. The sd80 goes well with the nitro i just got. i play my eq completely flat on both amps so you can really hear the tonal differences in the amps. the 80 is pretty tight and percusive, i put tung-sol pre's in it and it really sweetened the tone. The splawn is the fullest and tightest sounding amp i have ever played.
