man my birth day is in mid december i was hpoing to have it by then. all i can do is hope and pray please let it only be ten weeks

did you order from scott or a store? actually you get one quicker from a dealer, got my new bottom in 3 weeks...

i ordered direct. it wasn't until after i joined this thread that i learmed that little bit of info. oh well its no big deal but i will definitely keep it mind when i order my cab:)

Well, I received an e-mail from scott saturday 21th of nov, saying it (a red Superstock) would go out tuesday.
Haven´t heard anything since.
I contacted scott, because I had cancelled my credit card, because it was stolen/misplaced, and I wanted to be sure that he hadn´t had any trouble getting the last half of the payment.
Everything was fine, he responded (quick and polite as always), and the amp was finished and beeing tested and should have been sent tuesday the 24th of Nov.
But since then nothing.
I don´t want to be a nuiscance, so I´ll just wait a week or so, before I ask again.
But the wait is killing me !
I had hoped I´d get it before christmas, but I´m not sure now...
Well, I have a Pro-Stock (and a ´68 50w plexi and a laney GH 100w...), but I´d sure liked to have seen a picture of the super stock in this thread.
Patience... Patience...

I would just give him a call and see whats up.Maybe the holiday slowed things down a bit. you should be getting it anyday. Scott told me it was only 2-3 days after it was shipped. didn't he send you a tracking number?

congrats! I just got my tracking number today and its on time to be here FRIDAY!!!!!!Now I'm beyond stoked this is my first splawn and I haven't had a nice amp in a very long time  |

I'm happy for you awesome John. After meeting you on here I checked out your clips, wow. You are an awesome talet and I know you'll love your amp. A player like you really gets the most out of a beast like the quick rod. Tell us when you make a smoldering demo video. Keep rocking man

Let me put the worry to rest. I can't even remember when I ordered my custom QR (it was late last year). This will be my second--my first is black/gold Plexi dress. However long it takes, IT'S WORTH IT. Scott is a stand-up guy and his amps are second to none. When I got into my new band I tried out the following amps to see which would sound best in the mix and with the other guitarist (Mesa MK IIC++):
Diezel VH4--really loved it but something lacking--came in 3rd.
Diezel Herbert--couldn't even hear it (later sold that amp)
Hughes & Kettner Trilogy--great sound... not right for the band.
Hughes & Kettner Triamp MK II--KILLER sound... not right for the band
Jet City JCA100H & 100HDM--amazingly, came in 2nd
Splawn Nitro & QR--KILLED it with a Splawn 2 x 12 SB. Tied for first place.
Those are some top-shelf amps there. The BAND (not me) Chose the QR as the go-to and #1 amp for the sound. 'nuff said. Because Scott runs a small shop not everyone will have heard of him and his creations, but once they do, they will be sold for life. So be patient, and your ears will be rewarded!
