Well I heard from Scott ! My Nitro shipped Friday 4/3 ..... The wait is almost over !!! I ordered it Dec 23rd. Can't wait to get my hands on it !!! I'll post a pic or video after I receive it. That is excellent news for both of us, I order on Dec 26th...  |

Well.... My new Nitro is on the Fed-ex truck making its way to sunny California! I can't wait to see it & can't wait to play it. Not a single person I've talked to around here knows about Splawn. All I ever get from anyone who asks is a "huh?" or "what's that?" So..when I get it, I have some minds to blow!

I did some research before ordering and found out it was quicker to go through a dealer than ordering directly from splawn. It sounds weird but its true. I was going to be without an amp the whole time I was waiting for my splawn, so I needed it as quick as possible. I ended up having to use a friend's solid state B52, not pretty at all!
Did you go direct? or through a dealer?
I did get mine pretty damn quick considering the wait other people go through. It felt like an eternity not having a decent amp to play and it didn't help that I knew the Nitro would rock my socks. I probably shouldn't even say how quick I got my amp. I'd be afraid a mob of people would be after me.

hah, yeah I ordered it direct. Guess that takes longer. But I am sure it will be worth the wait!

I would like to see a factory pic of my Quick Rod ;D ;D ;D That's not as bad as seeing a sick custom tolex headshell and cab in pictures of splawn con 08 that belong to you and you're stuck at home when 2 gigs that weekend prevented you from driving up, hanging out at splawn con and driving home with a new cab and headshell... noo nooo THAT my friends is torture! |

I recommend that people order from BluesCityMusic.com. Lynn is a really great guy & he will get you a custom Splawn as quickly as possible. Scott has a que & he will build amps in that order. If you order from a dealer (like Lynn) who normally always have a custom amp to be built in Scott's que you can avoid being stuck at the end of the line, which is what happens when you order direct.

Man I wish i woul have read all of these posts before i placed my order last friday.I thought 10 weeks was gonna be torture but now im seeing 4 and 5 months from what you guys are saying .Please tell it aint so i just cant wait that long for my new QR!!!!!!!!!
