+4 or -10? (for effects loop)

i'm a long time splawn user, but i've never been much of an effects guy when i play live.

i'm in a new band and i've decided to use some effects to compliment my other guitar player. he's a wiz with delay and stuff.

i'm using a boss ph-3 phaser, boss bf-2 flanger, mxr phase 90, Boss DD20 delay, and a Boss TU-2 tuner.

should i just run everything through the effects loop? if so, what level should i select: +4 or -10?

Well its really up to you what you want to put in the loop. Some people like modulation on the loop but most tend to only like chorus, not phasers or flangers in the loop. I personally prefer chorus in front instead of in the loop. I would definitely put the delay in the loop though.

So..if I was using that set up you have there I would go: Boss PH3-->Phase 90---> Boss Flanger-->TU2 Tuner--> Amp....-->DD20 in the loop. Again that's all just a matter of taste.

I believe the setting for pedals is -10 and for rack stuff it is +4.

I use delay in the loop. Push both buttons on the loop to the "in" position if using pedals.
