soooooo awesome that another great player has a splawn..24-7 spyz are awesome!! saw you guys with stuck mojo at coney island high in nyc way back in the day!! great funky metal riffs! now i am going to have to break out all my spyz stuff now..harder than you,this is..,gumbo,strength in numbers.CLASSIC!!! to see you guys and kings x on a show in new york would be GREAT..the date is a little close but i'm gonna try to make it up gotta get the next day off!!

I get my signature model guitars and they're the exact same color as Big Blue! ;D What are the details on this guitar Jimi? I wanted to revisit my first love, which was a Strat. But I wanted a handmade one with more attention to details so I hooked up with Danish luthier Peter Rahbek ( www.rahbekguitars.com)who makes a stellar version of a strat that he calls the Classic. I made some changes to his model, so much that it became a signature model that'll be unveiled in late Jan./Feb. 09. The first three colors will be trans blonde, JH Blue (matches Big Blue!) and black. Body woods are swamp ash or black korina. Necks have reverse headstocks and are eastern hard rock maple. Fretboards are either flame maple or cocobolo. They are gonna be SWEEEEEET! And speaking of sweet, I gotta tell ya, Big Blue tore the house down at the King's X gig! The photogs were taking pictures of us, but they should've gotten pictures of Big Blue! I used a custom Vigier & a custom Strat, named the Green Monster! The Green Monster is sweet as well, thanks for digging ! Since we're not touring, we pop out for the occasional local tri-state area gig! And since NJ is only across the bridge from NYC, we probably should've done a hit there! If something comes up, I'll make sure you know about it! |
