This has genuinely confused me. Hahahahaha! Individuality should never confuse, only inspire ! The color scheme came from my favorite car, a 57 Chevy Bel-Aire. I wanted my amp to look the opposite of what she sounds like. In my 20 years in the music industry, I've always broken barriers and smashed stereotypes and I'm happy to say that Big Blue is no different! I really need to take better pictures, her beauty isn't being captured fully! And in February, I get my signature model guitars and they're the exact same color as Big Blue! ;D

I hear on not looking like it sounds. Bought my QR and matching cab used... was a little hesitant at first, honestly.

If so, ya'll need to check out his playing. This dude is monster and I think it is killer that he is rockin' Splawn gear not. Bad ass!

I think if there were any pink on any of that, I'd have grown a vagina.
Props for stepping into territory few men would!

Hi ldm! Yes, it's me, Jimi Hazel! Thanks for the kind words! I'm truly digging my Splawn rig and if any of you cats are in NYC, "Big Blue" will make her debut at the Blender Theater on 12/16 when Spyz hits with King's X! What a great way to turn on people to the power of the Nitro! BTW, I'm digging the tunes on your MySpace page! Good stuff & killer tones! ;)COLUMBUS OHIO ROCKS !

Baby Blue was my second and my third was a super cool textured western style tolex. My stones are legendarily huge so doing this was just a matter of copping the tolex! It's no different than choosing the tubes, speakers or effects you dig, it's all personal! I'm glad Scott and the Splawn crew made my first rig exactly the way I wanted it to be! And I'll warn ya now, wait till you see the next Splawn joint I get! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Jimi could pull off pink and not one person who saw him live would saw one bad word about it. I just keep thinking, Dang, Jimi is rocking Splawn. That is just so friggin' cool! Welcome to the family mang!

Welcome to the family mang! Speaking of pink, back in 89 I was playing a hot pink ESP Maverick and Ladies Loved Cool Jimi and the dudes wished they had the stones to rock a hot pink guitar! In other words, stay true 2 self! Ya dig? And YES, ldm, I'm-a-rocking the Splawn and loving it! Thanks for the welcome !

I love that sonic blue color! I've been searching for years for a 63 sonic blue strat. Found one at the Dallas guitar festival but that's one of those things that will have to be a find cause I caaaan't be spending $50,000 on a guitar. No sir!

Found one at the Dallas guitar festival but that's one of those things that will have to be a find cause I caaaan't be spending $50,000 on a guitar. No sir! Right on! Ya know, I need to take better pictures! The color is a creamier cross between sonic blue & baby blue. I'll have some next week! I hear ya on the 63 strat front, $50,000 spent on a guitar means it better do more than be played and have an extra cavity if ya get my drift! I once had a sherwood green 65 and a sunburst 64. If either had been sonic blue, they'd still be in my possession! I have a signature model coming out in 09 and one of the colors offered will be an exact match of the amp color! It's gonna be a beauty! And BTW, nice chicken picking coming thru that Splawn of yours! Nice chops ya got there!
