Well, it actually arrived about a month ago, but I never got around to posting it. Ordered this from Lynn Burke at Blues City Music a few months ago. It's black tolex with gold piping (to match my head and 4x12) with a Small Block 25/Big Block combo. Sounds great!

fooking sweet man I love the gold piping. Why did you need a 2x12?

4x12 was overkill for practice/jams, especially when going up and down the stairs, lol

Hey, what are the dimensions of the regular 2x12? if you dont mind. That thing looks deeper than I thought it would be in the pictures you loaded.
Very nice looking by the way

the standard 212s are as deep as the 412s. they sound HUGE!
here are the dimensions for the 212: 20" tall 29.5" wide 14" deep

4x12 was overkill for practice/jams, especially when going up and down the stairs, lol I must be a weak puzzy ;D Cause my Splawn 212 is a b1tch to carry around. I would hate to have to lug around a 412

Amen. I am done carrying 4x12. Never, ever again. 2x12 is much better for the back and the vehicle.

Any of you guys try two 2x12's? I am wondering how this would sound compared to a 4x12? I have 2 different 2x12's but one is 16 ohm and one is 8, so I can run them both using the 4 ohm output on the amp, but it gives a funky ohm load (like around 6 ohms I think) so it does not sound the best. I have long considered 2 - 2x12's to get the best of all worlds (easy of carrying and the cool look and sound of a 4x12)

Somewhere in this video, Andy Timmons states that he's prefers using two 2x12s rather than 4x12s. He mentions a difference in the sound.
