I had placed an order for a pro stock a few weeks ago and am also considering changing my order for the SuperComp. What exactly does the mode switch do?? Can you get close to a 1st/2nd gear tone with the SuperComp? Im torn up between these 2 amps and am not sure on what to get. Thanks, Jack.

I've had my SuperComp for a few days now . While I've never played a Nitro , I have owned Quikrods . The mode switch either adds higher mids or low/low mids . Jack , imo you can get those tones . I do not have a quikrod right next to me to compare but I think it kicks ass for those marshall type tones . The harmonic content and punch of this amp is completely awesome . I laughed for 10 minutes when I first fired it up in full out "nitro" mode . Unreal amp..OD1/high mid mode with guitar volume rolled back gives me a great clean tone for what I need . I've never used a clean ch anyway , so its perfect .
