The boost at a certain volume won't get you any louder. If you're cranked up and want to be louder you'll need to put something else in your chain.

Doesn't do much? Its a completely separate volume control and OD boost. What did you think it would do?

I do notice a slight increase in gain but not much else..I've been out of the splawn loop for awhile. To me a solo boost is just that...an actual boost of volume over your rhythm volume but this doesn't seem to do much...oh well....

any type of clean boost in the FX loop will also work.
