Okay, my Comp is the version that has 1st/2nd gear when the knob is up, and 2nd/3rd gear when the knob is down. I got it in January 2006. As you know, it is in 2nd gear by default whether the switch is up or down if the blue light is off. Anyhoo, here is my question:
Do you hear a difference in 2nd gear depending on where the switch is? I swear there is just a little more somethin' somethin' when the switch is in the down position. It is so hard to hear, almost more like you can feel it when you drive. A smidgen more gain and bottom end.
I asked Scott about it, he said there should be no difference - it's only a switch. I dunno. It doesn't really make a diff I suppose, except that I wonder if there something to it, if 1st gear is somehow affected.
I'm gonna wear that switch out trying to get to the bottom of it LOL!
