Hi first post. I was wondering what you guys are using? EL34Bs or KT88s ? Cons to any of them? A general idea of what they sound like. Basically I was hoping that you guys can tell me what you think sounds best in this amp. Thanks.

EL34 - Mullards in mine. Sounds great. Old school. This bad boy is tight enough already, I hear KT88s are even tighter, and I need all the looseness I can get.

I've got the EL34 Mullards in mine as well. Not too sure what the difference between an EL34 and a EL34B is but the Mullards sound pretty sick... In a good way. Fantastic classic rock sound.

Aren't KT88s also more hi-fi? If my amp had any more high end, bats would start fooking it.

That is a London accent. London, England. You have committed the ultimate crime. You are expected to fall on your sword.
