Could the bias just be two high? If I have it in 50 watt mode it does not happen. Yeah, it could be that your bias is off. Did you do the retube or did you take it to a tech? I would ask the tech what he biased to if he did at all. This is one of the reasons I want to learn to bias myself. I just don't trust anybody to do the work they say they will do. |

I did take this one to a tech just to go over the amp. I do have a meter and know how to do the bias myself so I am going to check it out tonight when I get home. Thanks for the input. I will let you know what happens. Oh, ok. Yeah, let us know what happens. I've never experienced that problem before. |
