I'd post my setup but the one cable from my guitar to the amp would be a little boring compared to some of your rigs. Even more so now that I bought a wireless.

I’m just trying to rile up some people here with this thread because this place is boring sometimes. Where is the people to tell me how tone is in the fingers and only shiite players need effects to cover their crap playing, etc?

I think effects can be cool and I do own effects but for me I just love that natural dry sound. I would like a nice analog delay for cleans and some kind of boost. The boost is honestly to try and get a little more "cover gain" because I need some gain to cover my crappy playing. Its no fault of the splawns its all me. If I make any little error it screams out from the speakers. In essence I need it to sound more like a crappy amp lol

My fuzz and treble boost are great on days where my technique is suffering but mostly I just use them for flavor.

I'm curious to try the green rhino. It seems to be fat enough and have enough volume to work with the qr. I have an sd1, gt-od, and maxon od808 but none get along with the Splawn. Carbon copy is one that sounds really warm I'd like to give that a try also.

Carbon copy is one that sounds really warm I'd like to give that a try also. In my own experience, tubescreamer type pedals change the Splawn tone too much for my liking. Some people have great results with the Maxon OD808 though, I've never tried one. I had the Carbon Copy for a little while and didn’t like it it. I thought it was too dark/muddy and the modulation was crappy. I have a Malekko e616 and I HIGHLY recommend that over the CC. Same price range, better modulation, looks cooler, clearer repeats, better built IMO.

Thanks man ill try that instead, I've heard good things about that brand. I believe they are cheapest through proguitarshop. What is the boost you like best

For the Splawn I like the RC Booster by Xotic best.
I might have to change this to the Timmy! I’m really liking the added grit it gives

The player is a bit of it but I have heard great players with terrible tone before. I agree..
