over the weekend i played my buddy dave's new nitro...sounded really really great. the one i had you couldn't dial out the low end. dave's has EL34Bs in it and it sounded killer. mine came with KT77s...which are in the EL34 "family" more or less...mine was used so..i don't know.......it didn't sound like dave's
anyway, just wanted to say that i liked dave's alot.

Not sure if it was just tubes w/ yours but I remember Shred trying and hating the KT77's...

I have had issues with the ones I sold which had 77's. All issues were conclusively attributed to these tubes, which sucks cause the 77's rocked at the first splawn convention!
But yeah, that was prolly the reason!
