I want to put casters on my cab. I should have ordered it with them but I didnt. Is it just a matter of screwing them right to the bottom throught the tolex or is there some kind of installing procedure Scott does? I put some on my Peavey classic 50 years ago and just screwed them in but I dont want to mess up my Splawn cab if there is a different way Scott does it.

Yeah thats how I done it before. I dont know why but it feels wrong just running screws into a cab like that. But I will probably just do it that way.

The ones scott uses pop in/out. So you would have to drill a hole to install the kind he uses. this brand actually are what is on my splawn cabs. www.penn-elcom.com/Default.asp?MC=1109010&GC=21they also sell the trak loc style mesa uses.

I was just wondering that myself... I didnt mention casters when I talked to Scott. I assumed they came standard with it like all 4x12's do?!?!?

Says on the site under 4x12 : "High-quality push-in casters w/ rubber feet "
Seems the 2x12's don't have casters (understandably).

It was a choice when I ordered it but I thought "nah, its a 212". but lugging it around does get heavy. Maybe I will just get a flight case type deal to sit it in. Then it will sit up a little higher too.....or maybe I will start working out and build up my muscles so I can carry ------....nah, flight case it is.
