I know a lot of folks associate the QuickRod with the VanHalen, mid 80's metal tone. Have any of you guys/gals been able to cop an Eric Johnson tone...I'm thinking 'Cliffs of Dover'.
I'm sure the QuickRod could handle such a task, I guess I'm looking for confirmation.
If you've been able to get an EJ tone, what are your settings?
Thanks,
mano

My buddy (http://www.paulgirolamo.com/index.htm) has a DR Z and he uses a pedal with it. I'm not sure of the name of the pedal (maybe Tube Driver). This pedal IS EJ's tone is a box. It dead on. Shoot him an email from his site. Tell him Mark from Montgomery sent ya. I know a lot of folks associate the QuickRod with the VanHalen, mid 80's metal tone.
