hello
after 15 weeks of wait I got my nitro in good shape. I am happy with the amp except its very noisy even when playing not too loud. Its a hiss, static noise with some degree of hum. Bad preamp tube I presume?
edit: okay there is something wrong for sure the bzzz sound is very intens, taking it to my tech

I am going to my tech tomorrow, he repairs on the spot so I will know it tomorrow. Scott thinks its a tube problem or an input power problem whatever that may be??? I am amazed that it arrived in this condition but these days anything can happen I guess

I am amazed that it arrived in this condition but these days anything can happen I guess I'm sorry that your Nitro has arrived with issues, but I'm sure Scott will be happy to help. It does seem that anything can happen in transit these day and I think you've been really unlucky. Mine was shipped to the UK and arrived perfectly but I've had some 'Ace Ventura' style boxes arrive in my time. |
