I know alotta you are using the midiverb 4 as a means to crank up the splawn but using the 'verb as the actual master to keep it from blowing up your house..
can any of the previous versions accomplish this same thing? tryin' to save money and keep my wife from serving me with divorce papers =D

I don't have the new one, so I don't know, mine was a much older version, but I don't have it anymore and am thinking of getting a midiverb 4. But I never did that with my older one.

you can get an alesis midiverb 4 really cheap used... maybe under $100

I got an Alesis Quadraverb in good shape with the power supply for $50.00 on Ebay.

not bad shawnee..can you use the volume trick with that as well? someone is selling a midiverb 3 for 75 shipped..

Yeah, the volume thing works. I was a little bummed that the Quick Rod doesn't have reverb, but after I played it a little while I have decided that it doesn't really need it. It sounds good with the Quadraverb on it but I wouldn't say better. Just different.
