Get a weber bias rite tool that sticks into one of the center 2 power tube sockets and has the little 2 pins that plug into a volt meter, set the volt meter to read milliamps and then turn the tiny little bias pot inside the amp until you reach the recommended bias setting.
of course, crazy as it sounds, I always just use my ears and a little common sense when biasing my amps. I know good and well that the amp probably isn't at an ideal bias at either extreme setting of the little adjustment pot and that typically in the center is the safest so I'll usually start in the center or wherever it's set when I get it, crank the hell out of the amp and have a friend start playing while I slowly tweak the bias pot until I get a good blend of tightness and saturation and stay away from it being too thin sounding or overly compressed or muddy which can happen if you stray too far either direction of the ideal bias setting.
I typically tend to err on the warmer side of biasing but it doesn't have too big of an impact on wearing out power tubes too quickly. I tend to use up to 2 sets a year depending on how often I play.

Do you play the amp while the bias rite is connected? that's a no-no

I picked up a single tube bias checker from euro tubes for 25 bucks.... checked all 4 tubes with it and found hottest tube and set that at 32...worked great. 25 vs 125 bucks big diff. it plug directly in digital multi meter.

Go and buy yourself a Weber Bias Rite BR4. Check on ebay cause you'll have to wait if you order direct. With the BR4 you plug in all 4 power tubes at once so don't have to move the sockets around while you are setting the bias. It makes the process much easier especially for a dummy like me. It is a really simple process but you need to have a steady hand and an insulated screw driver or else you may have electricity passed through your body causing great pain or even death.
