I have a pretty spartan fx collection...I have one pedal..BAM! that's it baby...lol...a guyatone md3 delay pedal...and I borrow my buddy's crybaby...
anywho, most I've talked to who have a pedal like this or the same exact pedal say that they run it in the fx loop..from what I understand, the splawns have two different options on the fx loop..one for pedal type thigns, one for rack type things..
so, let's say that I run the pedal in the fx loop..my amp now has a switchable fx loop...far as I know, the splawns don't...I guess I just turn off the pedal and that's that? I'm curious if that'll color the tone at all...
help?

Good question Shredder. That is how I use the loop in my Rivera KHR because I try not to use the monster footswitch pedal they require for those amps. Plus I use digital delay, analog delay, pitch shifter, and chorus in the loop and I don't want all on at once so I just leave the loop on an use the pedals switches on my pedal board. It doesn't affect the tone in that amp but some amps I hear sound worse with the loop on.

Yeah I think if it is a well built hand-wired amp it should not be a problem. I wouldn't trust it with a production line amp IMO.
